Giacomo Puccini – Invitation to Maestro’s Home

Giacomo Puccini’s Birth Home is the Museum. Located in an apartment on the second floor of an ancient building in the heart of Lucca historical center.

The birth home was transformed into a museum in 1979 and carefully restored in 2011 : in this house the composer spent the years of his childhood and first youth.

In the museum you can see the piano on which he composed Turandot, photos, letters, and “libretti” of Tosca, La Fanciulla del West and musical sketch of La Bohème.
